bright leaf fluttering
in the cold windy sunshine
still holding the branch
I want to let go
___________________________________________________________________
1
every leaf turns bright
cool sunny sky shimmering
brushed by gentle breeze
2
after tobogganing
our hands touch warming
beside the fire
3
footsteps in snow
coming from dense brush
little black holes
4
ice covered tree branch
refracts sunlight glistening drop
imitates apple
5
after new snowfall
children track a circle
the game begins
6
mars meets venus
we wait all night
roasting hot dogs
7
without snow
carrying eggs home
and singing
8
spring wind sends my hat
more blocks than i can run
rolling on its rim
9
faded photograph
dad in his boat at full sail
always smiling
10
my dad's crocus
breaks ground at his door
he exits
11
field workers pause
looking up they see
crows steal seed
12
@ moms and tots
a tempest in my teacups
spring fever strikes
13
14
woman's day
moon full
of hope
15
pyramid to spring
ancient people and modern
wind celestial clock
16
listening to
grandma's grandfather clock
ten springs after
17
last spring's shake
resounding to far off shores
wave of grief
18
she and daughter
dance across celestial sphere
and both 'round sun also
19
gently picked
first cherry tomato-
into my mouth

These are exquisite little gems of poetry. I’d love to see them in a collection with a painting of a single leaf on the cover. Bravo!
I'm loving your posts... poetry is refreshing
